布鲁氏菌病室组建于1958年，主要从事全国性布鲁氏菌病的预防和疫情控制及流行病学监测工作；起草、制定布鲁氏菌病的国家标准、应急预案、防治指南、监测方案；进行布鲁氏菌病原学、流行病学和生物信息学等多方面的研究。主要研究方向包括：

　　1）布病诊断标准及疫情发展控制策略制定；

　　2）布病诊断技术及转化研究；

　　3）布鲁氏菌基因组分型技术研究；

　　4）布鲁氏菌菌株生物资源建立与应用；

　　5）布鲁氏菌与宿主相互作用机制。

　　布鲁氏菌病研究室已承担国家973、863、传染病重大专项、国家自然科学基金和中美新发再发传染病项目。近五年来发表SCI文章20余篇，获国家专利两项。中国地方病协会布鲁氏菌病专业委员会办公室挂靠布鲁氏菌病研究室。2014年，姜海研究员和田国忠主任医师参加了抗击埃博拉国际卫生应急工作。

　　1）Diagnostic criteria and control strategy for brucellosis

　　2）Diagnosis technique and transformation of brucellosis

　　3）Brucella genomic typing

　　4）Biological resource establishment and application of Brucella strains

　　5）Interaction mechanism between Brucella and host

　　Some key national projects were undertaken, such as 973, 863, national natural science foundation and EID program between China and U.S..In the past decade, more than 20 SCI articles have been published, and two national patents have been awarded.The professional committee of brucellosis of Chinese endemic diseases was affiliated to the department of brucellosis.In 2014, Drs. Jiang hai and Tian guozhong participated in the international health emergency response against Ebola.
