莱姆病室创建于上个世纪八十年代,在过去的30多年中,经过几代人的努力,莱姆病室对中国的30多个省(直辖市、自治区)的人群以及20多个地区的媒介和宿主动物进行了莱姆病调查,确立了中国莱姆病的流行区域,主要传播媒介和宿主动物;建立起了中国莱姆病菌株库。并对我国的莱姆病诊断方法进行了研究,建立了用于我国莱姆病诊断的血清学方法及其诊断标准;并致力于病原学的快速检测方法的研究,已建立起real-time
PCR、LAMP、RPA等用于莱姆病螺旋体快速检测的方法。进一步通过分子分型的方法确定了中国莱姆病螺旋体的主要基因型及其分布。并对我国不同基因型的标准菌株进行了全基因组测序,以研究我国莱姆病螺旋体的基因组特征。
同时,莱姆病室还承担着各地相关专业人员的技术培训,为各地莱姆病的防控提供技术支持。近年来,莱姆病室参加了多次的疫情和突发事件的处理,包括:2003年SARS的溯源调查;2008年汶川地震的防病救灾;2008年奥运会的输入性莱姆病例的诊断;2012年山东青岛莱姆病聚集病例的调查等。均圆满完成任务。
Department of Lyme Disease was founded in the eighties of the last century. After several generations of efforts, Serological investigation of of Lyme disease in people of more than30 chinese provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) and investigation for vectors and host animals in more than 20 areas have been processed during the past 30 years. Our results showed the prevalence of Lyme disease in China,and also identified the main vector and host animals. We established the chinese strain library for Lyme disease.Research on the diagnosis methods of Lyme disease is another field in our department.the serological methods and diagnostic criterias for the diagnosis of Lyme disease in China have been established. The etiological methods of Lyme disease has been established, such as real-time PCR , LAMP, RPA and so on. The main genotypes and their distribution of Lyme disease in China were determined by molecular typing. Genome sequencing of the standard strains of different genotypes in China was carried out to study the genomic characteristics of chinese isolates.
At the same time, the department also organizes the relevant professional trainings to provide technical support for the prevention and control of Lyme disease. In recent years, Lyme department has participated in a number of epidemic and emergency treatment, including: SARS traceability survey in 2003; Disaster relief in Wenchuan earthquake in 2008; Diagnosis of one imported lyme case during Olympic Games in 2008; Investigation of aggregation casesofLyme disease in Qingdao in 2012. All the taskshave been successfully completed.
